How do I submit a claim and how long does it take?

What to do before submitting your claim

1. Upload your pet's vaccination card 
2. Update your pet's microchip number (only required for dogs)
3. Update your bank account details (click here for the steps)

When to submit your claim

• We strongly encourage you to submit within 7 days of your visit to the clinic so that you and your vet have clear memory on what happened~
• However, you have up to 30 days to complete your claim

How to submit a claim

1. Login to your Oyen dashboard
2. On your dashboard, click on Claim your bills, and then click on the pet you wish to make a claim for

3. Select the type of claim you would like to make

4. Complete the form with as many information as possible:
Important note: Providing complete information and documents will help you to get paid quickly

  • Name of clinic and doctor you visited
  • Date of first symptom
  • Date of treatment
  • Amount of final and paid bill
  • Diagnosis and cause determined by the doctor
  • Upload itemised vet bills
  • Upload copy of diagnostic test results (if this was done during the visit)
  • Upload supporting documents such as medical report signed by your doctor
  • After submitting, you'll receive an acknowledgement email confirming that we've received your claim

What happens next

• Your claim will undergo a review, typically completed in 3-4 weeks (however, this will be longer if any of the information above is missing)
• Our team may reach out to you if further information is needed
• You will be informed of any updates via email and your Oyen dashboard
