What does Oyen Insurance policy cover?

Here are the 3 types of benefits that are covered under Oyen Pet Insurance (after the 30 days waiting period end) or accidental injury:

1.Vet Medical Benefits (Limit ranging from RM 4,000 to RM 10,000)

Oyen's insurance policy is designed to reimburse you for all veterinary and surgical fees incurred during the period of insurance for illness or injury. This includes coverage up for:

• Vet Fees and Surgical Fees: Consultation cost and surgical cost for your pet.
• Diagnosis and Blood Test: The cost of finding out what is causing your pet to be ill.
• Clinic Overnight Stay: We will cover your pet's overnight stay in the clinic (as advised by the vet).
• Post-surgical Treatment (per surgery): Cost for follow up treatments (up to 60 days) is covered too!
• Prescribed Medication: We will also cover medication needed when your pet is ill or needs it to get better. Do note that, routine supplements will not be covered.
• X-Ray / Ultrasound.
• Non-surgical Follow-up Treatment: Oyen covers non-surgical follow-up treatment by the same vet for up to thirty (30) days from the initial consultation, ensuring comprehensive care for your pet's recovery.

2. Burial or Cremation Cost (Up to RM 1,000) 

Oyen understands the emotional toll of losing a pet, and the insurance policy includes reimbursement for burial or cremation costs. The coverage extends up to the maximum benefit specified in the schedule, encompassing handling charges from the veterinary clinic/hospital or service providers during the period of insurance.

3. Third-Party Liabilities (Injury and Property Damage to Others - up to RM 50,000) 

The policy also provides coverage for third-party liabilities. Oyen will pay up to the maximum benefit specified in the schedule, inclusive of all legal costs and expenses incurred with written consent. This coverage addresses accidental injury to third parties caused by your pet and accidental damage to third parties' property within Malaysia during the period of insurance.
